**Job Description**

The Marketing Director provides strategic alignment, direction and support to the brands and categories. Is responsible for the development and implementation of the AutoZone Mexico Marketing strategy for both Customers; DIY and Commercial, adopting customer insights and global brand values, working closely with the Marketing teams in the United States and Brazil, to develop and participate in joint initiatives that capitalize on opportunities in Mexico, working closely with the Merchandising and Commercial teams to achieve the company's sales and EBIT goals and developing the Communication and Advertising Strategy that consolidates AutoZone's leadership in the market.

**Responsibilities**

+ Consolidate the AutoZone brand leadership in Mexico, positioning and increasing its awareness in the market through the construction of the message of uniqueness and the value proposition, ensuring in-depth knowledge of the customer, market and brands, through the Immersion in mark t research, national and global trends, and being one step ahead of the competition to continue leading the market

+ Lead, Develop and Execute the Marketing Plan for Commercial and DIY customers, according to the company's key priorities, each category's needs and maximize the investment in mass media of 300 million pesos of annual budget with the correct and attractive message for our customers, prioritizing efforts in the initiatives that will support both sales and ebit goals

+ Ensure customer-centric communication strategies and advertising campaigns, ensuring in-depth understanding of DIY and commercial customers to build awareness, increase health and stature of the AutoZone brand, working closely with merchandising directors to communicate the attributes of the main categories that connect with the needs of the target audience, ensuring the continuous growth of the company

+ Lead the Product Marketing strategy for key categories at Autozone to enhance the merchandising strategy based on product innovation, product positioning, and communication of new coverage availability. Develop product promotional strategies, traffic generation plans, and pricing strategies in comparison to top competitors. Focus on differentiating product quality and performance and effectively communicate these advantages to customers, including both DIY and mechanics.

+ Own the Private Labels Brand architecture, create the matrix of brands by tier and category, define the brand for launches and provide the support of brands in Mexico with close communication with the US and Brazil teams, to align structures globally and ensure brand equity. Lead graphic communication, ensure brand guidelines consistency and correct execution in promotional, signage, flyers, packaging and branding materials, to secure AutoZone's value proposition in DIY and COMM customers

Communicate Branding, Services Performance & Quality in Store*B2B Marketing Strategy, Commercial Module, develop MKT tools & Protocols Outside Store ( For Mechanics & National Clients)"

+ "To Gain Customer Engagement & Preference to generate confidence and connect with them to make them our main brand ambassadors.Develop a Loyalty program for frequent customers to drive transactional & emotional benifits like Cash back, Training, Closeness Protection (insurance, Pampering)"

+ Lead and direct the Marketing team by consolidating its strengths, promoting new skills development and reducing areas of opportunity to ensure that we have the best talent making a career in the company.

**Qualifications**

Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.

Area of Study: Marketing, Business Administration

Years of Experience: Five to seven years.

Type of Experience: Brands, FMCG Industry, Retail is a Plus,

Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Strategic skills, negotiation, leadership and team management. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Other/Preferred: Strong oral and written communication skills, teamwork, leadership, problem solver and focus on results
