Internal audit manager
the audit manager will manage audit projects, lead auditors, staff members and ensure that audit procedures are effectively performed, documented and reported. Upon completion of each audit assignment, the audit manager works with project staff to provide management and the board of directors with analysis, information and recommendations in an objective, accurate and timely fashion.
main responsibilities
* manage the performance of risk based audits of adm entities mostly in north latam countries.
* supervise and train team members.
* establish defined goals and development plans for direct reports.
* build relationships with company management, business units, accounting, etc.
requirements
* ba or bs degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
* fluent english language. Advanced portuguese preferred.
* minimum 7+ years of accounting or audit experience, preferably with a large public accounting firm with fmcg & manufacturing clients.
* experience with fmcg, manufacturing industry.
* experience with us gaap, sox, and fcpa compliance preferred.
* understanding of agriculture industry and/or commodity trading.
* experience in oversight and supervision of colleague's work.
* up to 50% travel, including international travel mostly in north latam.
* experience with data analytics tools, and artificial intelligence.
