*responsibilities*:
- *coordinate transportation*: arrange transportation for shipments, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and scheduling deliveries to meet customer demands.inventory management: monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
- *documentation*:prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs documentation. Ensure all paperwork complies with regulatory requirements.
- *communication*:serve as the primary point of contact for carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Communicate shipment status updates and address any issues or delays promptly.
- *problem resolution*:identify and resolve logístical problems in a timely manner, such as shipping delays, route changes, or damaged goods. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement effective solutions.
- *cost optimization*: work closely with management to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the logistics process. Monitor transportation expenses and seek ways to minimize costs without compromising service quality.
- *compliance*: stay up-to-date on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines related to transportation, customs, and trade.
- *performance metrics*: track key performance indicators (kpis) related to logistics operations, such as on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and transportation costs. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
