Aboutthe role lead and optimize our wave soldering operations andthrough-hole technology (tht) printed circuit board assembly (pcba)processes. This role will be responsible for process ownership,continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration toensure operational excellence, product quality, and efficientmanufacturing in a dynamic electronics production environment. Thisposition is onsite and is located in our manufacturing plants incamargo and jimenez chihuahua. Responsibilities - lead, develop,and manage all aspects of the wave soldering process, includingsetup, optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of relatedequipment. - oversee tht pcba manufacturing processes, ensuringcompliance with quality standards and best practices. - collaboratewith design, process, and quality engineering teams to support newproduct introduction (npi), design for manufacturability (dfm), andprocess qualification. - analyze process data, identify trends, andimplement corrective and preventive actions to minimize defects andimprove yield. - develop and maintain process documentation,including work instructions, standard operating procedures, andtraining materials. - drive continuous improvement initiativesusing lean, six sigma, or similar methodologies to enhance processefficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness - provide technicalleadership and training to production staff and technicians on wavesoldering and tht assembly best practices. - ensure allmanufacturing activities comply with ipc and industry standards forsoldering and pcba quality. Qualifications - experience with newproduct introduction (npi) and design for manufacturability (dfm).- familiarity with lean manufacturing, six sigma, or equivalentcontinuous improvement methodologies. - hands-on experience withprocess control tools, failure analysis, and root causeinvestigation. - proficiency with statistical analysis software andmanufacturing data systems - experience with conformal coatingprocesses is a plus. - experience with pcba depanelizationtechnologies is a plus. - basic knowledge on electronics is a plusto read component polarities and basic functionality. - experiencewith reliability testing for tht solder joints such as halt andhass is a plus. Education & experience - bachelor's degree inmechanical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering(or related field). - minimum 2–5 years of direct experiencemanaging wave soldering processes and tht pcba manufacturing in ahigh-mix, low-to-medium volume environment. - proven expertise withwave soldering equipment, process setup, optimization, andtroubleshooting. - in-depth knowledge of tht assembly, solderingmaterials, and ipc-a-610/ipc-j-std-001 standards. - stronganalytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills- demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and driveprocess improvements. - excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal, - conversational english is mandatory thefuture looks brighter than ever.
