Employee main responsibility will be to perform laboratory analysis to validate production special processes: chemical process, metal spray, and heat treatment areas mainly. This analysis will include but will not be limited to: solution analysis (manual and automatic titration), gravimetric analysis, spectrometry, sample preparation, and metallographic evaluation. The employee will also be responsible for test report creation and quality records generation. Additionally, duties include chemical handling, solution preparation, laboratory equipment calibration, use, and preventive maintenance routines.
the employee will follow documented procedures, obtain analysis results, compare them with industry standards, and report analysis results in compliance with laboratory quality system requirements to ensure no erroneous results are delivered to customers. They will establish contact within the department and with the customer base to ensure the execution of standard/routine work.
the employee will participate in engineering projects, procedures creation, and all activities resulting from honeywell's operational system implementation, such as 5s, continuous improvement, and internal audits.
qualifications:
* laboratory technician degree, unfinished degree in chemistry, metallurgical, or materials engineering, or at least 3 years of experience in an industrial laboratory environment.
* proactive, team player, customer-focused, with good written and verbal communication skills.
* basic english language skills.
