job overview
as a solutions engineer for our client, you sit at the crucial intersection of engineering and customer success. You will partner directly with healthcare groups to design, develop, and maintain the integrations that let their ai assistant plug seamlessly into each customer’s tech ecosystem - ehrs, practice‐management systems, voice systems, data warehouses, and more. You’ll write production‐grade python code, advise customers on best‐practice architectures, and serve as their ongoing technical point of contact for anything related to integrations and data flow.
responsibilities:
* discovery & solution design.
* lead technical scoping calls with customer engineers and it teams to map data sources, security requirements, and success criteria.
* translate business workflows into detailed integration specifications - rest apis, webhooks, or event streams.
* integration development.
* build robust python components and data pipelines that connect to ehr (fhir/hl7), crm, voice systems, and third-party scheduling systems.
* write clean, testable code with strong logging, monitoring, and graceful error handling.
* customer enablement & support.
* act as the primary technical contact during implementation and lifelong account support for integration‐related questions or incidents.
* deliver hands‐on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incremental feature enhancements.
* documentation & knowledge sharing.
* produce clear api guides, sequence diagrams, and sample scripts to accelerate future projects and empower customer teams.
* share patterns and reusable modules with internal engineers to expand our integration library.
* continuous improvement.
* gather feedback from real‐world deployments to influence product roadmap and core platform capabilities.
* automate repeatable tasks (data mappings, validation tests, deployment templates) to shorten time‐to‐value.
qualifications, skills, and key competencies:
must‐haves
* proven track record building python services or data‐integration pipelines in production environments.
* experience working directly with external customers or partners - leading technical discussions, gathering requirements, and explaining trade‐offs.
* solid grasp of restful apis, webhooks, and authentication standards.
* ability to read and write basic sql; familiarity with postgres or comparable relational databases.
* excellent written and verbal communication - able to translate between clinical, business, and engineering stakeholders.
nice‐to‐haves
* prior work integrating healthcare data standards (fhir, hl7) or other regulated domains.
* background in high‐growth saas or startup environments where you owned deliverables end‐to‐end.
