We are currently looking for an in plant embedded system tester - intermediate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting testing and validation of embedded systems directly at the client’s facility. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software components through thorough testing methodologies.
*responsibilities*:
- support system bench testing, product analysis and troubleshooting in an oem assembly plant
- lead joint debug sessions with customer using target module and debugger
- support administrative activities for design release within customer release process
- collaborating closely with the development team and client stakeholders to ensure product quality
- work with validation to understand and duplicate identified issues
- participating in project meetings and contributing to project deliverables
*requirements*:
- bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in embedded systems testing
- strong understanding of testing methodologies for embedded systems
- good written and verbal communication skills
- highly skilled in troubleshooting software issues
- ghs compiler and debugger tools
- git/jira
- electronic and software knowledge relevant for automotive industry
- able to understand and work with specialized software tools
- 2-3 years experience working with can, diagnostic and flashing tools
- willingness to work on-site at the client’s facility
