Overview
the sr hr business partner role at johnson controls focuses on leading senior hr activities to implement people initiatives for manufacturing operations. You will report to the senior hr manager and act as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving their people strategy to deliver the strategic objectives.
responsibilities
* lead day-to-day human resources activities in the plant, including establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
* ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable hr requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
* prepare ad-hoc and regularly scheduled hr queries and reconcile them with reports from other databases; prepare or update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating; explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees; support the payroll process; and assist with training programs.
* be an assertive communicator, self-motivated, and maintain a positive demeanor to enhance hr excellence for the region.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in hr or equivalent.
* minimum 7 years of experience in sr. Hr generalist role or hr manager with experience across workforce planning, performance management, pay review, talent development, and employee relations.
* fluent in english (90%).
