*key responsibilities*:
- lead editing and packaging of long-form podcast episodes for professional-grade audio and video distribution
- architect short-form content strategy, identifying high-leverage moments and crafting platform-specific assets that maximize reach and retention
- partner with producers, hosts, and content strategists to influence creative direction and editorial decisions
- oversee file management, editing pipelines, and publishing workflows using adobe premiere pro, after effects, audition, or comparable tools
- manage a growing volume of content with precision and consistency across platforms and formats
- monitor performance analytics (watch time, engagement, completion rates) and adjust formats and edits accordingly
- act as a quality gatekeeper for all published media, maintaining high creative and technical standards
- collaborate with design, marketing, and demand gen teams to align media output with campaign priorities and brand tone
- propose and implement workflow optimizations, templates, and tool improvements to scale production efficiently
*qualifications*:
- 5+ years of experience in professional video/audio editing, with a portfolio spanning both long-form and short-form content
- advanced proficiency in adobe creative suite (premiere pro, after effects, audition) and other editing and post-production software
- demonstrated success producing content that performs across youtube, linkedin, instagram, and tiktok, especially in a b2b or thought leadership context
- strong editorial judgment and ability to turn dense topics into compelling narratives
- deep understanding of platform-specific content trends, pacing, hooks, and optimization tactics
- experience interpreting content analytics to inform creative decisions
- ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with speed, accuracy, and accountability
- strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
