What you'll do• lead the design and implementation of major features or services within the platform catalog ecosystem. • drive architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions aligned with engineering best practices. • mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. • partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical outcomes. • advocate for system reliability, performance, and observability across multiple integrations. • strong software engineering skills (java, rest/graphql apis, docker, kubernetes to design api to consume/produce data and build backend applications to power the client advertising platforms. • use kafka/aerospike/elasticsearch for building a realtime data pipeline as a backbone for the entire advertising team. • expertise in microservices architecture for highly available, large-scale distributed systems. • participate and manage on-call and production support rotations to support and troubleshoot system issues off-hours and during promotional events • team coordination: coordinate with team members to assign tasks, set goals, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues. • technical mentoring: provide guidance and support to team members, fostering continuous learning and improvement.we are a match because you have: • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production-grade systems. • deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and api design. • proficiency in, java, with strong debugging and optimization skills. • experience operating in cloud-native environments (preferably gcp). • ability to influence design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • solid understanding and experience with database technologies (e.g.,sql) and data processing tools (e.g.,kafka, aerospike, elasticsearch). • experience with graphql • familiarity with cloud-native systems, containerization (docker/kubernetes), andci/cdpipelines.why join us?
