Overviewgeneral objective: supervise and coordinate the execution of autonomous, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance when applicable, in alignment with the established maintenance plan. Ensure the availability, reliability, and regulatory compliance of critical plant systems, including sterilization, utilities, infrastructure, and support equipment. Responsible for leading technical personnel, monitoring work quality, enforcing safety, quality, and environmental standards, and contributing to continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the department.responsibilitiesfacilitate effective communication and seamless handover of maintenance activities, ongoing tasks, and critical information between shifts and supervisors to ensure continuity, prevent operational disruptions, and maintain alignment with maintenance plans and safety standards.drive a culture of continuous improvement within the skilled maintenance team, providing effective leadership and line management to ensure high performance and engagement.coordinate, oversee, and monitor the daily workload and activities of mechanics and technicians to meet operational and departmental targets.analyze maintenance trends, data, and kpis to identify improvement opportunities, recommending corrective actions and supporting their implementation.maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and related documentation to ensure compliance with validated parameters before releasing equipment for operation.supervise the execution of scheduled maintenance activities, including preventive, autonomous, and corrective maintenance as applicable, in alignment with the maintenance plan.collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and customer service to plan, coordinate, and execute eo validation activities, product load setups, and sample/sensor retrievals with time-sensitive schedules.support basic plc programming tasks and troubleshooting in coordination with specialists.oversee maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, ensuring reliability and operational readiness.assist in managing maintenance projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met.ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, actively promoting a safe work environment for team members and all affected personnel.contribute to the creation, review, and update of nldc maintenance procedures, specifications, and other controlled documents to maintain regulatory compliance and operational excellence.collect and analyze utility data (water, gas, energy, eo, water treatment) to support efficiency initiatives.provide oversight and technical input on hvac systems, including cooling towers, chillers, ahus, maus, vacuum pumps, water pumps, boilers, softeners, and fire prevention systems.lead root cause analysis (rca) efforts for equipment failures or malfunctions, developing corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.control and manage maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory, ensuring availability and proper use.skillssoft skills:operational lidership, effective communication, teamworkdecision-making, planning and organizing daily workfocus on results and compliance with indicatorscommitment to continuous improvement, highly detail-oriented and accurate documentationservice-oriented attitude toward support areas (production, quality, ehs, etc)hard skills:specialized technical knowledge in the following:utilities: chillers, boilers, vacuum pumps, fpsautomation, electrical, plc, hmi, sensors, industrial networksmechanical, piping, industrial installationknowledge of basic industrial instrumentation, calibrations mastersinterpreting electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and isometric drawingsquality & regulation:calibrations, iso 13485, audits, compliance, stpsatexknowledge of autonomous, preventive and corrective maintenances procedures and tpmindustrial safety, power lockout, loto tools and conceptsproficiency in office (word, excel, powerpoint) at the operational leveltechnical english (reading manuals, procedures, interacting with suppliers) - desirableknowledge/experienceverifiable experience as maintenance supervisor in a regulated industry, such as the medical, food or technical manufacturing industry, or more than 3 years as a crew leader with direct responsibility for operational personnel, shift management, and coordination of maintenance or calibrations activities.previous experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, tech issues.participation in audits, implementing technical improvements, or commissioning industrial systems.educationbachelor degree mechatronic, mechanical, electronic, electrical, industrial.medline industries, lp is an equal opportunity employer.
