we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of assistant vice president - pricing operations.
responsibilities
* establish a robust and comprehensive ongoing control and operating environment model for pricing operations to ensure delivery of high-quality market data to consumers.
* deliver analysis and expertise on market data, including maximizing usage and quality of in-scope market data.
* implement new control and governance standards for market data and maintain these works seamlessly and collaboratively with businesses and functions in appropriate forums and ongoing communications.
* encourage and champion a positive end customer experience, recognising the wider importance of markets operations, and contribute to a controlled and efficient end-to-end operational model.
* accountable for managing client escalations and issues for all pricing market data clients across apac/emea.
* support the existing market data management team and improve the existing framework to make it more robust.
* provide expert problem management support to difficult, high-profile client issues and ensure root-cause analysis is conducted and a corrective action plan is followed through with lessons learnt.
* provide support to new business opportunities and liaise with relationship managers, clients and support the transition and implementation of new business.
qualifications
* strong experience of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, management and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
* evidence of excellent planning and organising skills.
* analytical skills, with good problem-solving skills and ability to recognise areas of risk or opportunities for improvement.
* exposure to projects and an understanding of process mapping and process re-engineering.
* experience in banking market data/curve construction knowledge across multiple products.
* flexibility in shifts.
* postgraduate/graduate in finance or related degree.
* ms excel and compliance data operational risk controls.
