we are seeking an experienced cluster sr. Marketing manager, mexico to oversee all elements of marketing, public relations and brand experience for our three homes in mexico – our habitas tulum (our original location), our habitas bacalar and our habitas san miguel de allende. This is an incredible opportunity in high-growth markets to drive performance for three distinct, inspiring destinations.

job description

what you’ll do

* create, execute and measure comprehensive annual marketing plans that drive property awareness and brand perception amongst key local and international markets to generate revenue for rooms, f&b venues, and ancillary income streams (i.e. wellness & programming)
* develop annual promotional campaign strategy for each home in partnership with revenue management, creating new offers and robust marketing campaigns to drive direct business
* routinely present marketing performance updates to internal teams and external stakeholders, including hotel ownership
* collaborate with our e-commerce team and external digital agency to establish, maintain and optimize paid media campaigns (search/social/display) to deliver against business kpis; review and analyze monthly marketing performance reports
* partner with our pr team and external agency to establish and deliver on overarching communications strategies for each property, and host media & influencer visits
* identify key stories and events to include in monthly social media content calendars, and provide support with onsite content creation photo and video shoots, in collaboration with our social media team
* manage website content for each property, including ensuring information and imagery is up to date and properly merchandised; ability to make revisions directly within a cms (wordpress)
* develop annual e-mail marketing calendar including narrative and content strategy; familiar creating and deploying emails within our crm platform (revinate)
* create and update sales and marketing collaterals to promote daily and weekly events and activations at each property, in collaboration with the internal design team
* curate an authentic itinerary of daily activities for guests that reflect our local culture in collaboration with brand operations; develop new experiences and events inspired by our brand pillars of music, art, adventure, food, learning and giving back
* foster and cultivate relationships with other likeminded, lifestyle brands to create new and exciting activations and collaborations that generate interest in and traffic to our homes
* serve as the our habitas brand experience champion – ensure all steps of the guest journey from pre-visit, on property and post-visit are aligned with our brand standards and values; ensure all onsite os&e is brand approved
qualifications
* 6+ years in marketing or performance marketing experience, preferably for a lifestyle hospitality brand in the mexico or latin america region
* this role will be based in mexico (preferably in quintana roo) with regular travel to each of our homes in tulum, bacalar and san miguel de allende, and to our regional corporate office in cancun.
* strong lifestyle brand experience and is passionate about what is new, next and on-trend
* confident presenter of critical information and recommendations to all levels of internal leadership and external stakeholders
* excellent relationship builder – confident working with teams and leaders to establish partnerships with external organizations from tourism boards to trusted travel industry vendors
* proven marketer with a high level of energy and motivation
* works independently and partners with others to promote an environment of teamwork
* multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and have a high-level attention to detail
* combines analytical and methodical thinking with high attention to detail and a solution-focused approach
* excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in spanish and english, written and spoken.
