job overview
te connectivity’s mfg & process development engineer ii is responsible for leading the design, planning and implementation of new high-speed cable manufacturing projects. This role involves hands‑on participation in production line debugging, pilot builds, and process validation. This role works closely with design, quality, production, and supply chain teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to high‑volume production, while meeting manufacturability, quality, and cost targets. This role is responsible for defining and executing the manufacturing strategy for new high‑speed cable (hsc) products, ensuring process scalability, reliability, and alignment with product performance requirements.
job requirements
* bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics engineering or related field.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in electronics, medical devices, or automotive manufacturing environments.
* proven experience in npi projects and process validation.
* knowledge of quality tools (fmea, spc, doe, lean, six sigma).
* proficiency in cad software and erp/mes systems.
* intermediate to advanced technical english proficiency.

* knowledge or experience working with radio frequency (rf) systems or signal integrity (si).
* familiarity with high‑speed cables (hsc) or high‑performance cables (hpc), including technologies such as dac, acc, aec, icc, pcie and twinaxial (twinax) cable systems.
