as part of our latin america expansion strategy, we are now building the mexico market and are looking for a commercially driven country manager to lead local business development, ecosystem partnerships, and platform growth.

role overview

the mexico country manager will be responsible for the overall market expansion and commercialization of ok.com in mexico.

the role requires strong local business resources and hands-on execution capability across:

* cars
* real estate
* recruitment / manpower
* local business ecosystem

this is a highly entrepreneurial role focused on:

market expansion → partnership acquisition → commercialization → revenue growth

key responsibilities

1️⃣ mexico market expansion & localization

* lead ok.com’s mexico market growth strategy
* build localized commercialization and operational plans
* identify key business opportunities across multiple verticals
* establish local market positioning and growth priorities

2️⃣ cars vertical development

build partnerships with:

* car dealers
* used car showrooms
* automotive groups
* import/export traders
* fleet companies

responsible for:

* dealer acquisition
* vehicle inventory onboarding
* lead monetization
* advertising & package sales
* automotive ecosystem cooperation

3️⃣ real estate vertical development

develop partnerships with:

* real estate agencies
* developers
* brokers
* property management companies

responsible for:

* property listing growth
* lead generation commercialization
* advertising & exposure packages
* real estate partnership ecosystem building

4️⃣ recruitment & manpower business development

* build relationships with:
* recruitment agencies
* labor suppliers
* hr service companies
* overseas manpower channels
* support recruitment order delivery and supplier management
* develop monetization models for recruitment services

5️⃣ commercialization & revenue growth

* drive platform monetization and revenue generation
* design and execute:
* lead sales
* subscription packages
* advertising solutions
* partnership models
* own market-level revenue targets and kpi delivery

6️⃣ b-end partnership development

develop and maintain relationships with:

* smes
* local merchants
* agencies
* enterprise clients
* platform partners

encourage:

* platform registration
* self-service posting
* paid advertising adoption

7️⃣ team building & local operations

* support local bd team setup
* establish sops and operational processes
* coordinate with hq teams across product, operations, and marketing
* provide local market insights and competitor analysis

requirements

experience & industry background

* 5+ years of business development or commercial management experience
* strong background in one or more of the following:
* classified platforms
* automotive industry
* real estate industry
* recruitment / manpower industry
* marketplace ecosystem
* experience managing multi-category business is preferred

local resources & network

candidates with existing mexico market resources are strongly preferred, especially:

* car dealer networks
* real estate agency/developer resources
* recruitment agency or labor supplier resources
* government or local business ecosystem connections

commercial & execution capability

* strong deal-closing ability
* strong revenue-driven mindset
* ability to build business from 0–1
* comfortable with kpi and commercialization targets

leadership & communication

* strong cross-functional coordination ability
* team management capability preferred
* entrepreneurial mindset and execution-driven personality

language

* fluent in spanish and english
* chinese is a plus but not mandatory
