join our dynamic real estate finance team at siemens energy as a project controller / commercial project manager! In this role, you will manage the financial aspects of construction projects, acting as a key finance partner to our real estate construction project management organization. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with teams across finance, accounting, real estate, operations, procurement, and legal. Your communication and stakeholder management skills will be vital in ensuring accurate financial performance and addressing cost deviations.
how you’ll make an impact
* lead financial execution of project portfolios, managing budgeting, forecasting, cost recognition, and reporting while supporting technical project managers in risk and opportunity assessment.
* collaborate with various business areas to ensure alignment on real estate construction projects and maintain continuous stakeholder communication.
* ensure project books and records comply with ifrs & local gaap, focusing on forecast accuracy.
* establish accurate financial project structures, including wbs, aligned with budgets, and develop financial performance plans based on project schedules.
* prepare and present regular financial status reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
what you bring
* bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or accounting; master’s degree or cpa is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling, or project finance roles, with mandatory sap module experience.
* strong knowledge of ifrs/local gaap, with experience in property, plant, and equipment accounting; familiarity with frs16-lease accounting is a plus.
* excellent english skills; proficiency in german and spanish is advantageous.
* independent, hardworking multitasker with leadership qualities and a hands-on approach in dynamic environments.
