*summary*: this position will serve as a key member of the team supporting plants in the implementation of erp routing systems. The role will guide plants in the creation of production routes and related components to ensure alignment with the business requirements of heat treatment operations.
*essential job functions (duties and responsibilities)*primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- coordinate metallurgical testing and manage related materials.
- ensure compliance with international standards and customer-specific requirements through leadership, area coordination, risk analysis, and resource allocation.
- monitor customer satisfaction based on technical product specifications.
- enforce the company's quality manual and maintain the calibration schedule for production equipment.
- identify, document, monitor, report, and control risks impacting products or processes that may compromise safety and key management indicators.
- foster communication and actively participate in quality management system meetings and leadership discussions.
- ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement in organizational performance based on product technical specifications.
- act as a leader in problem-solving and preventive actions within key performance indicators.
- coordinate interdepartmental resources and efforts to meet quality assurance requirements.
- identify training needs and provide training to organization members on metallurgy and materials.
- monitor and maintain manuals, procedures, documents, records, and all evidence supporting the quality management system, equipment calibration, and product specifications.
- guarantee and coordinate efforts for the preservation of infrastructure, equipment, customer property, and document control.
- audit, monitor, develop, and maintain external processes as applicable, including calibration, supplier evaluation, certificate review, and test report verification.
- develop an audit system for all organizational processes (including cqi-9). Coordinate final process inspections, incoming inspections, and generate/sign certificates based on metallurgical data.
- establish standards to implement and promote safety and 5s.
- promote continuous improvement initiatives within the quality team.
- serve as a role model committed to compliance with quality indicators (safety - product - process - qms - ems).

- *education*: bachelor's degree in engineering (materials science/metallurgy) or equivalent experience.
- knowledge of materials to understand the applied processes.

*specific technical knowledge*
- advanced knowledge of metallurgy.
- understanding of customer-specific requirements.
- familiarity with apqp/ppap.
- basic knowledge of iatf 16949.
