We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented junior it specialist to join our global it team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality user support in our fast paced production environment. The successful candidate will work closely with both local and international colleagues to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient it operations.
key responsibilities:
· provide first-line technical support to local users via email, phone, and in person, in alignment with global service standards.
· participate in our global it service team to support our follow the sun support strategy
· troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across various devices and platforms.
· support the maintenance and monitoring of building security systems, including access control and cctv, in accordance with global security guidelines.
· maintain accurate and timely records of support requests, solutions, and asset inventory.
· collaborate with global it teams to implement updates, system rollouts, and process improvements.
· ensure all work complies with corporate it policies, security standards, and best practices.
qualifications:
· associates or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science (or 2 years relevant work experience along with technical certification, microsoft).
· minimum of 1 year in technical support services.
· comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware, network design, components and services.
· strong technical knowledge of operating systems including: windows server, windows 11 and linux.
· experience with microsoft 365 administration is preferred.
· experience with user management in active directory and entra.
· experience with zoom and zoom phone administration is a plus.
· experience with sap is a plus.
· demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with little or no assistance.
· experience in managing iot devices and environments.
· excellent written and verbal skills in english and spanish.
· understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles is a plus.
· strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a global, cross-functional team.
· eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative it environment.
physical requirements/work environment:
· work is performed in an office and manufacturing environment and in the field.
· less than 10% travel.
· must be willing to work afterhours to support production in case of emergencies
