description
* perform the service of registration, updating, and monitoring of driving failures in pre-series, zero-series, and prototype vehicles.
* issue work orders to the different stations (usa‐mex), specifying the necessary activities to update, verify, and follow up on the test vehicles.
* participate in periodic virtual conferences with the different quality stations worldwide.
* evaluate the functionality of prototype modules and parts in both national and international tests under different climatic conditions and various types of roads.
* carry out preliminary analyses of failures occurring in components and test modules to monitor analyses and measurements.
* upload major failures into the client's system for documentation and deliver follow‐up reports.
* ensure the updating of components (sw and hw), as well as test modules in prototype vehicles.
* verify the software version of the ecus for each assurance project.
* download domestic lists.
* conduct functional evaluations in pre-series vehicles for each software update in the control units; depending on the vehicle's location, the evaluation may be carried out in mexico or the usa.
* install datalogger equipment in prototype units.
* collect information from datalogger equipment according to the internal behavior of assurance driving units.
* upload and distribute datalogger information for use by area specialists.
* update datalogger configuration.
* gather feedback from specialists to inform all staff in weekly meetings about the current status of the vehicles.
* communicate part changes for prototype unit updates according to vr.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in mechatronic, electrical, electronic or automotive design engineering.
* 1 year of experience in the automotive industry
* knowledge of automotive electrical systems
* communication between ecus (electronic control units / communication module units)
* fluent english
* 1 year contract with possible extension.
