Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within honeywell aerospace. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations, trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- develop and maintain a deep understanding of tool use and strategy across honeywell aero.
- work with tool strategy teams to stay aligned with and supportive of strategy areas and strategic directions
- quickly understand how to meet customer needs, develop solutions to those needs, integrate those solutions into the overall service delivery model and educate stakeholders.
- collaborate with tools teams, cmads, and it to create and maintain a testing environment that remains up to date and free of tech debt.
- work tightly with it to identify, and fix, tech debt found in key aerospace tools.
Must have
- bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- minimum of 5 years of related experience
- familiar with aerospace tools and it infrastructure.
- possesses an understanding of how software tools are developed, deployed, and supported.
- familiarity with programming, scripting, and interacting with sharepoint.

- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- capable of working well with others and work in a self-directed, virtual environment.
