what you’ll be doing:
• design electronics hardware for motion systems including motors and complex assemblies
• complete schematic capture, pcb layout, prototyping, and testing
• evaluate and apply emerging technologies to innovative product designs
• collaborate with engineering, business, and customer teams to meet project goals
• balance innovation with cost, manufacturability, and time-to-market
• troubleshoot and debug prototypes using advanced instrumentation and soldering techniques
• contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
• engage with customers to understand and translate needs into product features
what we’re looking for:
• bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering
• 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware design in a manufacturing setting
• proficiency in pcb layout tools and electrical design fundamentals
• bilingual (english and spanish) with ability to operate in a global and local environment
• experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design
• strong analytical skills, creativity, and independent problem solving
• high energy, collaborative team player with strong sense of urgency
bonus points if you have:
• experience with motion system control or embedded hardware platforms
• knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for cost
• experience in cross functional disciplines e.g. software, firmware, or mechanical
• proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement
• high energy, urgency, and a hands-on approach to building early prototypes
• business acumen and sensitivity to market value creation
