This position is responsible for project managing Sourcing Transitions to drive supplier re-sourcing to support PMT sourcing strategies and/or cost-benefit initiatives and to support factory re-positioning / transformation and supply base localization.
The Sourcing Transitions Project Manager must be able to drive Transitions Projects leveraging Standard Transitions Process tools to lead cross-functional teams while ensuring that cross-functional partners are held accountable. The Transitions Project Manager should leverage their project management experience to manage complex projects that require supplier-to-supplier Transitions globally and core vs non-core outsourcing.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Use the PMT Standard Transition Process to execute Sourcing Transitions and manage Sourcing re-source / outsource projects to meet deliverables and contribute to Commodity strategies - growth, sustain, and removal of suppliers.
- Fully support factory re-positioning projects managing all elements of Direct Factory Sourcing project responsibilities and ensuring all Direct Factory Sourcing deliverables are accomplished.
- Lead cross-functional, global teams of Commodity Managers, Design Engineering, Product Integrators, Product Management, Supplier Development / Quality Engineering, Planning, and others, including engaging and driving suppliers, to execute as needed to achieve deliverables as set by the business, and ensure the teams identify and manage risks/opportunities.
- Develop project plans, coordinate activities to execute the plans, and ensure all supplier quality, delivery, and pricing objectives are being met.
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Program Management, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in supply, materials management, transitions or project management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Project Management, Sourcing, or Factory Transitions of high-dollar projects with aggressive timelines.
- 5+ years of experience with common process management tools, for example, transitions protocol, project tools, risk assessment, total cost model, etc.
- 5+ years of advanced experience using Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, and data consolidation), PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
- Availability to travel domestically and/or internationally (30%)

- Professional Certifications in Project Management/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management.
- Experience in New Product Introduction methodology
- Outsourcing experience.
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Use of Global Sourcing Quality tools, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC y MSA.
- Working understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
- Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
