*title:*dg boss: firefighter-driver/operator (fn)*job summary:* the firefighter / driver-operator (d/o) is responsible for responding to and mitigating fire, medical, rescue, and hazardous materials emergencies. This position includes driving and operating fire apparatus, performing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical tasks, and participating in fire prevention and public education activities.
