*about the role*
established *ahri ratings engineer* professional. Analyzes all levels of total system products, prepares technical reports, and works on multiple projects supporting total systems analysis.
*key responsibilities*
- review psychrometric test data to verify accuracy in the test procedure and system components.
- use a physics-based modeling program to evaluate system performance and generate system ratings.
- work with marketing/sales to evaluate system performance risks and acceptable system performance.
- develop/modify python scripts to manage large data sets and improve current processes.
- support projects with significant scope and complexity.
- develop standard work and process workflows.
- manipulate complex sets of data using python.
*requirements*:
- bachelor’s degree: mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science
- * 2-4* years* of experience in system engineering
- experience working with *databases*.*
*it would be nice if you have*
- programming skills in python or any development language is a plus.
- previous hvac industry experience preferred
- must have unrestricted authorization to work in the united states
