*key responsibilities*
- purchasing: source suppliers, request quotes, negotiate terms and freight, issue purchase orders, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- record-keeping: maintain and update employee files and organize administrative documentation.
- reporting: prepare, consolidate, and present accurate weekly and monthly reports (e.g., purchases, inventory, kpis).
- data management: enter and maintain accurate data in internal systems; generate reports and queries.
- client service: provide efficient support to internal and external clients and colleagues.
- remote workspace: maintain an organized home office, reliable internet connection, and professional remote work practices.
- transition readiness: be prepared to relocate to the office when the company defines the transition timing.
*requirements*:
- education: bachelor’s degree in administration, international business, languages, or related field.
- experience: 3-5 years in administrative roles; proven experience in purchasing and supplier negotiation preferred.
- languages: english c1 (required) and advanced spanish (native or equivalent).
- technical skills: proficient in microsoft office (advanced excel desirable); experience with internal management systems/erp is a plus.
- competencies: strong organization, attention to detail, effective communication, prioritization, and teamwork.
- location: must currently reside in mexico city (cdmx).
- availability: remote now; must be willing to transition to on-site work when required.
