Red global is hiring sql server database developers located in the india or latam regions. We currently hat 2 openings focused on sql ssis/ssrs data that is crm focused and will regard etl process and data development. This role is primarily remote is on a contract basis w/the potential to for contract to hire.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical specifications for etl processes and reports.
- develop and maintain etl processes using microsoft sql server integration services (ssis) to extract data from various sources, transform it into the desired format, and load it into target databases.
- design, create, and manage microsoft sql server reporting services (ssrs) reports.
- optimize database performance and ensure data integrity by fine-tuning queries, creating indexes, and monitoring database health.
- troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- continuously enhance and maintain existing etl workflows, reports, and data models to meet evolving business requirements.
- provide regular project updates to business analysts and management.
*qualifications*:
- bachelor's degree in computer science or 7+ years relevant development experience.
- minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a sql server database developer, specializing in etl processes and database architecture using microsoft sql server ssis and ssrs.
- proficiency in sql scripting and experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization techniques.
- solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database design principles.
- proven ability to work with large datasets and handle data integration challenges effectively.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- demonstrated experience of project estimation and planning.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
