Eaton's aer itd division is currently seeking a sr quality engineer.*what you'll do*:*description*job summary*the sr.quality engineer shall ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards, monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs.the designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.it leads the development of control plans, fair, ppap, 8d's, spc & should have excellent troubleshooting skills.*responsibilities*:- developing and implementing quality processes & quality control systems.- monitoring and analyzing quality performance (internal & customers).- inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met- understanding customer expectations.customer communication for special requirements, needs & complaints.- developing of customer contract review- leader of development of control plans, ppaps, fair, apqp & spcs- investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues & developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements- leader of 8d's analysis for internal and external quality issues, ensure actions are effective- follow up customer warranties and reworks throughout all the process until material is been reworked, scrapped or returned to customer.- review and analyze cost of nonconformance (rework, scrap).- authority to participate in the mrb team for approving disposition of nonconforming material.- institute development protocols for validation plans- rejecting products that fail quality standards- it is guided with the eaton quality policy and acts at all times according to eaton philosophy and code of ethics*qualifications*:*qualifications*education level required: bachelor's degree in engineering (electronic, mechatronic, industrial etc.) - bilingualyears and area of experience required: 3-5 years' experience in quality or engineering areatechnical knowledge: experience in the electrical/controls engineering field, lean manufacturing and six sigma, sap, knowledge in as* or iso * requirement, ppap, scp, apqpsoft skills: problem solving, team workli-ds1*skills*:we are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.our recruitment processes use balanced selection criteria and avoid unlawful discrimination against applicants on the basis of their age, colour, disability, marital status, national origin, gender, gender identity, genetic information, race or racial origin, religion, sexual orientation or any other status protected or required by law.
