What you will do
* develop and maintain quality systems, control plans, and inspection methods to ensure compliance of aerospace components and assemblies.
* lead product and process quality activities, including risk management using core tools (pfmea, msa, process flow, control plans, ppap).
* define and execute validation and test strategies in collaboration with design engineering to ensure product reliability and performance.
* drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and escape management for internal and customer-reported issues.
* ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and contractual requirements, including change management and work transfers.
* implement engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process capability.
* act as a key quality representative within cross‑functional aerospace programs.
* promote a proactive, zero‑defect culture and continuous improvement mindset.
* manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
qualificationsyou must have:
* bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, aerospace, or related).
* 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing.
* strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards and core quality tools (pfmea, msa, ppap, etc.).
* experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
* proficient conversational and written english required, needs to be able to efficiently communicate with corporate leaders both in person and in reports/via email.
qualificationsweprefer:
* experience with aerospace standards (e.g., as9100, nadcap).
* background in inspection technologies, advanced quality planning, and continuous improvement (lean/six sigma).
* visa
* experience in composites (metallic core, prepreg material).
