position summary:
we are seeking a
dre – cockpit
to lead the design, release, and validation of cockpit systems and components. This role is instrumental throughout the entire
product development lifecycle, from concept through to launch.
the ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in cockpit system development and a strong understanding of engineering standards and validation processes.
key responsibilities:
design, release, and validate cockpit components and systems.
lead development activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
ensure compliance with design and validation standards including dfmea and dvp&r.
contribute to the development of product tooling and manufacturing processes.
utilize cad tools and plm systems for efficient design and data management.
areas of expertise (preferred):
instrument panel systems and components
console systems and components
door trim systems and components
hardtrim, surface, thermoformed plastic
cross car beam structures (welded steel and/or cast assemblies)
technical skills & tools:
cad: nx
plm: teamcenter
tooling processes:
injection molding, blow molding, foaming, stamping
proficient in microsoft office suite
required qualifications:
bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (e.g., materials science, civil engineering, aerospace)
strong knowledge of dfmea, dvp&r, and product validation
1 to 2 years of relevant experience required

hands-on experience with
baja sae
or
formula sae
