Overview
our maintenance control engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of maintenance activities to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of equipment and systems. This position play a crucial role in preventing breakdowns, minimizing downtime, and enhancing overall system performance. This involves tasks such as preventative maintenance planning, troubleshooting, data analysis, and implementing improvements.
responsibilities
* preventative maintenance planning: develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment is maintained according to manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
* troubleshooting and problem solving: investigate and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, using diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
* data analysis and reporting: collect, analyze, and interpret maintenance data to identify trends, predict potential failures, and track the effectiveness of maintenance activities.
* system optimization: identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency through process improvements, equipment upgrades, or modifications to maintenance procedures.
* maintenance procedures and documentation: create, update, and maintain clear and concise maintenance procedures, ensuring that all maintenance activities are documented accurately and consistently.
* safety compliance: ensure all maintenance activities adhere to relevant safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.

qualifications
* engineering degree: a bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or industrial) is typically required.
* technical expertise: strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
* analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, using tools such as spc and fmea.
* communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
* project management skills: ability to plan, organize, and manage maintenance projects effectively.
