responsibilities:
* provide shipping plan
* create and monitor spot sales orders
* responsible for asn activity, including sending, tracking, and acceptance
* oversee samples shipments operations
* maintain customer and supplier on-time delivery (otd) according to kpis
* request production schedule adjustments to meet customer fluctuations
* update the "criticos" report daily
* maintain finished goods inventory levels according to company objectives
* keep customer contact list updated
* manage finished goods cycle counts with 99.9% accuracy
* manage customer packaging
* track raw materials and verify mrp runs with accurate data
qualifications:
* degree in administration, international trade, industrial, or engineering; or demonstrate technical proficiency for hr or line manager interviews
* desirable: 3 years managing oem accounts (ford, chrysler, gm) in customer service
* customer knowledge: expectations, specifications, platforms, processes, issue management (backlog, complaints), supplier issues, and customer platforms (gm, ford, fca, vw tier 1)
* experience with sap modules (mm, sales, pp, asn), import-export, ctpat, covisin, eddl, e-supplier connect, and logistics principles (call-offs, material and production planning, bom, erp, warehousing)
* knowledge of supply systems: kanban, pull system, vps, one-piece flow, peps
