What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a strategic and highly organized Wholesale Lifecycle & CRM Manager to grow long-tail wholesale revenue. This role focuses on building and owning lifecycle marketing, CRM management, and relationship-driven account growth for independent studios and small chains. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable creating new systems that directly drive revenue and repeat ordering.
Responsibilities—what you'll do:
Lifecycle Marketing Ownership
- Build and manage automated lifecycle flows for wholesale accounts, including onboarding, replenishment, lapse/dormancy, product education, and seasonal campaigns
- Create segmentation strategies based on order frequency, AOV, product categories, and growth potential
- Test and optimize messaging, incentives, and cadence to increase order frequency and retention
- Maintain performance reporting for all lifecycle programs
CRM Management
- Own the wholesale CRM end-to-end, including configuration, data hygiene, tagging, segmentation, and reporting
- Ensure wholesale data accuracy and usability across systems
- Develop dashboards that track account health, reorder patterns, and lifetime value
- Surface insights and opportunities proactively to leadership
Long-Tail Revenue Growth
- Increase predictable recurring revenue from smaller studios and frequent-order accounts
- Build reorder calendars and proactive outreach plans for each account segment
- Operate wholesale perks and tier structures to reward consistent monthly ordering
- Use structured communication (email, SMS, quarterly calls) to drive reorders
Account Relationship Management
- Serve as strategic partner to studios, offering guidance on assortment decisions, merchandising, and sell-through strategies
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with top and emerging accounts
- Train accounts on product features, materials, and customer-facing best practices
- Deploy winback and retention playbooks for at-risk accounts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to align wholesale campaigns, launches, and educational content
- Work with operations to ensure inventory accuracy, predictable fulfillment, and clean SKU structures
- Collaborate on wholesale revenue forecasts, demand planning, and account-level opportunity lists
- Provide structured feedback on product performance and studio needs
Reporting & Performance
- Report weekly on account retention, reorder frequency, churn risk, and lifecycle flow performance
- Drive revenue targets and demonstrate month-over-month improvements in repeat ordering behavior
- Build repeatable SOPs and systems that scale as the wholesale channel grows
Qualifications:
Must have:
- 3-6 years of experience in wholesale account management, lifecycle marketing, CRM management, or customer success
- Background in beauty, jewelry, apparel, accessories, salon supply, or other boutique-driven wholesale categories
- Strong CRM ownership experience (HubSpot, Airtable, Pipedrive, or similar)
- Proficient in Shopify analytics, customer tagging, and wholesale plugins
- Strong analytical skills with ability to build dashboards and interpret data
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced startup environment and able to create structure where none exists
- Fully fluent in English
- Ability to commit long-term and full-time
- This position is for serious, career-oriented candidates
Nice to have:
- Experience building automated email or SMS flows in Klaviyo
- Familiarity with Shopify, Matrixify, or Google Sheets advanced functions
- Experience supporting or growing small, independent retail accounts
- Prior experience in lifecycle retention for B2B
