you will work closely with the head of land and strategic partnerships to help build the financial frameworks and partnerships required to expand restoration initiatives across multiple markets.
this role sits at the intersection of finance, environmental restoration, and emerging natural capital markets.
key responsibilities financial modeling develop and maintain financial models for project-level economics, including landowner compensation structures, carbon credit projections, and multiple revenue streams (e.g., carbon, biodiversity, agroforestry).
capital strategy support support financial modeling related to different forms of project financing, including equity, debt, and blended or catalytic capital structures.
investment materials assist in preparing presentations and information memorandums for institutional partners, credit offtakers, and lenders.
investor reporting prepare periodic reporting materials by coordinating with finance, operations, and field teams.
consolidate financial, operational, and environmental performance indicators into clear reporting for partners.
land economics analysis develop and maintain frameworks for landowner economics and land valuation across markets, including opportunity cost analysis and long-term cost considerations.
market research conduct research on voluntary carbon markets, biodiversity credit markets, and broader natural capital trends to support strategic decision-making.
operational analysis analyze field and logistics data to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and project economics.
required qualifications professional background approximately 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, infrastructure finance, climate finance, or a related field.
financial modeling skills strong financial modeling skills using excel or google sheets, including the ability to build structured and adaptable financial models.
language skills fluent spanish and professional proficiency in english, including the ability to prepare written materials in english and communicate effectively with spanish-speaking stakeholders.
software proficiency advanced proficiency in microsoft office (excel, powerpoint) and google workspace.
communication skills ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear and structured presentations.
