Amazon Mexico Retail team is looking for a data-driven, customer-obsessed, hands-on, and creative candidate to join our team. As a Brand Specialist, you'll work with selected vendors to help drive growth and deliver a best-in-class customer experience on amazon.com.mx, while fostering strong business relationships with some of Amazon's highest visibility brands.
You’ll be responsible for managing a brand’s and category’s product portfolio, contributing to user experience improvements, and creating detailed monthly performance reports. You’ll lead presentations and planning sessions with vendors and serve as their main point of contact.
Key job responsibilities The successful candidate will leverage their broad skill set across various facets of retail (e.g., buying/vendor management, product management, operations, finance, marketing/merchandising) to identify and create growth opportunities. They will deliver results both strategically and tactically, innovating for long-term growth. Successful candidates may have opportunities to advance into leadership roles within Amazon.
A day in the life Brand Specialists are involved in online marketing, vendor management, and in-stock management. Tasks include:
Online marketing: improving product page data, developing marketing and merchandising plans, enhancing onsite customer experience, generating traffic and sales.
Vendor management: expanding product selection, onboarding new vendors, resolving pricing issues.
In-stock management: tracking purchase orders, investigating late deliveries, resolving order rejections, working with vendors on PO automation.

Minimum qualifications 3+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
2+ years in roles such as quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, pricing, marketing, or e-commerce.
Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, planning, product management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain.
2+ years as a market research analyst, product manager, or similar role.
Bachelor's degree.
English proficiency.
Additional preferred experience 3+ years in management consulting, investment banking, or brand management at a leading CPG company.
Experience with analytical tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
