**Role Purpose** 
Lead WPB Finance Planning and Expenses teams for Mexico and Americas maintaining a common global operating framework and delivering strategic financial business support while maintaining a strong controllership environment. 
Provide financial and operating support to Head of WPB MEX and Mex WPB EXCO 
Maintain a cohesive cost efficient structure delivering consistent, timely and accurate financial analytics. 
Utilize globally consistent management information and reporting framework, providing key financial and non-financial information to business to support achievement of RBWM strategy 
Participate as a member of MEXICO WPB Executive Committee and various supporting committees for example cost Management Unit Committee, Operating Committee 
Lead country business strategic cost management activities ensuring cost targets are achieved and appropriate level of rigor is applied to achieve sustainable cost save targets. 
**Accountabilities** 
- Assist in external reporting with WPB MEX and other group functions and any investor relations presentations including WPB content 
- Implement internal management reporting, overall MI and ad hoc papers for Country WPB Head, Business Strategy Team and Regional Head of Wealth Management segmental reporting requirements. Also support WPB financial reporting for HSBC Holdings Board, GMB, WPB EXCO, RMM etc as required 
- Oversee regulatory/global capital Used by MEX WPB. 
- Ensure proactive management of controllable cost base and team structure. 
- Complete the implementation of financial & non-financial tools and reports that identify key business drivers and associated KPIs that guide management decision making and contribute to strategy formulation. Continually seek better ways to convert financial/non-financial data into intelligence that feeds improved business performance. 
- Lead annual financial planning process and estimate update for WPB MEX including preparation of summary analytics and presentations 
- Development and analysis of product/segment/channel P&Ls; as appropriate 
- Lead business case preparation and management for the region ensuring sound financial analysis and strategic alignment 
- Ensure execution and ownership of all pricing models in FIN. Drive pricing governance in conjunction with Risk and CVM as aligned to Global Sherwood structure. 
Requirements 
**Knowledge & Experience** 
The individual would be expected to have a varied finance career to date across multiple finance disciplines (i.e. Financial Accounting & Control; Business Information & Analysis; Financial & Regulatory Reporting; Capital Management, Accounting Policy; Change Management) and ideally exposure to living and working overseas given the global interaction with other colleagues in similar roles.
