This role is part of a digital transformation initiative focused on implementing ai solutions to automate operations, reduce fraud, and improve efficiency.
key challenges to solve:
* reducing manual check review from 12.74% to approximately 3-4% using ai.
* automating deposit slip processing to eliminate manual data capture.
* implementing real-time fraud detection systems.
role overview:
this is a business-critical role focused on automation and fraud reduction. You will work directly with leadership (cto / director of engineering) to design and implement ai solutions that drive measurable operational impact. This is not a research role — production experience is mandatory.
key responsibilities:
* design and implement ai solutions for:
* fraud detection systems (vision-language models)
* document processing automation (ocr pipelines)
* build scalable cloud architectures in aws (serverless).
* develop ml pipelines for training and deployment (sagemaker).
* integrate ai systems with existing platforms using apis (rest / graphql).
* automate internal processes using workflows and integrations (e.g., n8n).
* implement real-time transaction analysis and scoring systems.
* monitor system performance and track kpis.
* collaborate with engineering leadership (cto / director).
* support adoption of genai solutions within the organization.
* train and guide teams on ml best practices.
candidate profile requirements:
experience:
* 5+ years of experience in software or ai/ml development.
* experience building ai/ml solutions in production environments.
* 3+ years of experience working with aws.
* experience in high-impact projects (preferably fintech or transaction systems).
* experience in fraud detection or document processing is highly valuable.
