What you will do?
the production planner is responsible for developing production schedules for all 'assembled in us' products and kitting operations to meet customer demand.
how you will do it?
the production planner will:
1. perform clear-to-build processes before finalizing production schedules with the business.
2. monitor customer orders and report any past due items.
3. report shortages to the plant or buyers and maintain stos for sub-assemblies from plants.
4. report schedule attainment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
5. develop and maintain capacity models by pbu.
6. identify shortages affecting production orders and escalate issues with plants or buyers.
7. maintain work orders and stos per pbu with accurate delivery dates.
8. coordinate shipping and receiving activities with warehouse personnel.
9. provide delivery dates to customer service and production supervisors.
10. expedite production orders as needed.
what are we looking for?
• minimum of two (2) years of experience in production planning or master scheduling.
• mrp and/or erp experience, sap preferred.
• strong communication and leadership skills.
