Job summary
as a practicante criminología security b3 at jabil, inc., you will support the security team by applying criminological principles to enhance security protocols, analyze security incidents, and assist in the development of preventative measures within a manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate security, leveraging academic knowledge to contribute to real-world security challenges.
Job responsibilities
assist in the investigation of security incidents, including theft, fraud, and violations of company policy, applying criminological theories to understand motives and patterns.
Support the development and implementation of security procedures and protocols to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture.
Analyze security data and trends to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventative strategies.
Conduct research on emerging security threats and best practices in corporate security and loss prevention.
Participate in security awareness training programs for employees.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., hr, legal, operations) on security-related matters.
Prepare reports and presentations on security findings and recommendations.
Assist in the monitoring of security systems and surveillance footage as needed.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents and investigations.
Job qualifications
currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in criminology, criminal justice, security management, or a related field.
Strong theoretical understanding of criminological concepts, crime prevention, and investigation techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in microsoft office suite (word, excel, powerpoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in spanish; english proficiency is a plus.
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
Prior experience or coursework in corporate security or loss prevention is advantageous but not required.
