as a supply chain operations manager, you will oversee the strategic planning and execution of supply chain activities to meet business objectives and customer requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage warehouse operations for all types of materials.
responsibilities:
1. manage warehouse operations for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
2. direct and administer inventory management systems, production control, and traffic-related functions to support operational excellence.
3. responsible for logistics processes, managing changes in production schedules, authorizing freight, negotiating with clients, suppliers, and team members.
4. monitor and optimize merchandise reception processes to ensure timely delivery.
5. control costs and prepare regular reports to track performance.
6. participate in regional cost-saving projects to drive efficiency.
7. ensure safety standards and monitor delivery dates to maintain customer satisfaction.
8. plan and carry out inventories to maintain accurate stock levels.
9. coordinate logistics teams, review bill of materials (boms), and manage packaging engineering to improve product quality.
required skills and qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience as a materials manager, supply chain, or logistics manager.
* expertise in materials or supply chain management with proficiency in inventory management systems.
* excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
preferred skills:
* erp knowledge, especially qad.
* advanced ms office applications (excel, word, powerpoint) to support data analysis and presentation.
