The divisional automation manager plays a pivotal role in coordinating the implementation of automation and mechanization projects across production lines. The goal is to significantly reduce product costs, enhance quality levels, and ensure compliance with established schedules.
key responsibilities
* coordinate automation and mechanization projects from concept/design to commissioning in manufacturing facilities.
* orient and optimize the activities of a divisional automation team to standardize machinery and systems.
* propose and coordinate an optimal mix of internal resources and suppliers for each project.
* audit and certify suppliers/integrators of automation projects globally.
* collaborate with manufacturing plants, purchasing, and finance departments on payment terms, warranties, and other leviton legal conditions.
* define strategic approaches and manage the design, development, and implementation of automation systems to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
* supervise and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.

* proficiency in plc programming, scada systems, robotics, and other automation technologies.
* strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* excellent leadership and team management skills.
* fluent english/spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
