Overview
the data analyst will create reporting to support many business functions at airlife, with a focus on the key functions of sales operations, supply chain, pricing, manufacturing, marketing, inventory and finance. This will include managing projects throughout the entire reporting development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. The data analyst will understand business requirements and build data models referencing tables and views in our erps. In addition to report building and data modeling, there will be many opportunities to aid the organization through the development of process optimization and automation using a variety of tools including ai.
responsibilities
* power bi report development and deployment.
* sql data modeling in a relational database.
* proficiency in ms office applications, including excel.
* establishes good working relationships with business users and other analysts to support the overall airlife reporting culture.
* understanding general business processes and how reporting/automation can contribute to accurate decision making and increased efficiency.
* good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* experience with power bi, power query or other business intelligence tools.
* experience with sql, python, r or other programming tools.
* experience with general business processes, requirements gathering and report building.
qualifications
* bachelor\'s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science, business analytics or related field preferred.
