1. Handle import and export logistic management and the customs affairs2. Supporting the team in planning of materials and production, providing resources and materials according to pre-established demand.
main tasks and responsibilities
* develop and implement materials handling procedures;
* monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending and achieve volume, timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.
* interpret inventory requests, production schedules, orders, and other documents to co-ordinate materials handling activities with the organisation's current and anticipated demand for goods and materials.
* liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in sales, production, or engineering) to that the supply and movement of materials meets their current and future needs.
* responsible for the customers delivery arrangement, ensure the on-time delivery of orders, control the transportation cost and make monthly report.
* responsible for product inspection, document making, customs declaration and scrap of defective products. Check accounts with finance regularly to ensure no error. Understand customs affairs, commodity inspection, inspection and quarantine laws and regulations and the latest customs clearance policies, and keep good communication with customs.
* responsible for developing optimal control in the company in my charge, in international trade, as well as excellent relations with clients and governmental authorities.
* use efficiently export promotion programs and trade agreements such as immex, prosec, usmc, tlcue and tlcaelc, to take advantage of the preferential rates that these programs allow to apply.
* integrate the files of tax / expo / treaties, to meet the requirements of tax audit of finance in the best interest of the group.
qualification
education: bachelor's degree or above
work experience:
- at least 2+ years' work experience in materials planning related field- at least 3+ years' work experience in automotive industry
knowledge:
* familiar with mes systems, and planning tools & methods
* good in oral and written english
* good knowledge of sap, erp,mrp,mes.
* government programs immex, prosec, rule 8, annex 24, annex 31
* good knowledge of mexican & u.s.a customs regimes, free trade agreements and official standards.
