Company dedicated to the manufacturing of protective packaging is seeking:

*position objective*
- guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
*responsibilities*:
- ownership of the plant p&ls including analysis and commentary of cost of materials variances to standard; sga variance to budget and net working capital analysis.
- prepare and analyze material usage; labor rates; labor and sales analysis
- interpret operating and financial results; provide recommendations to improve plant and financial performance
- balance sheet analysis; review and approval of reconciliations
- oversees accounts payable; accounts receivable (including credit control); full month end close; general ledger; capital expenditure; cash flow forecasting
- preparation of annual operating plan in conjunction with corporate fp&a
- regional leader of corporate transformation projects
- financial process and control improvement implementation. Recommendations for operational process improvements
- coordinate with external auditors for year-end audit; preparation of annual financial statements
- lead compliance with local, state and federal government reporting and tax filings including maquiladora and import/export
*requirements*:
- experience minimum 7 years in manufacturing accounting and finance role; 5 years of leadership experience
- *fluent english essential*:
- proficient in ms excel
- bachelor’s degree in accounting
- ability to communicate and engage with employees at all levels in the organization
- leadership ability to motivate and encourage teamwork
- this is an onsite position
