*about the role*
in this opportunity as a cloud cost optimization business analyst, you will be responsible for:
- cloud cost management:
- assist in analyzing the cost implications of cloud technology choices for new and existing projects.
- help identify underutilized resources and support cost optimization efforts.
- learn to create and maintain cost-related reports and dashboards.
- team collaboration:
- work with product development teams to understand their cloud usage and cost drivers.
- support the design and implementation of cloud cost visualization tools.
- participate in discussions with peers, architects, and managers to understand cloud strategies.
- financial planning:
- assist in budget planning and forecasting activities related to cloud costs.
- help prepare monthly reviews of current spend vs. budget.
- learn to analyze data and identify cost trends.
*about you*
you’re a fit for the role if your background includes:
- bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, technology, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in a business or technical role
- basic understanding of cloud technologies (aws, azure, gcp)
- proficiency in excel and data analysis
- strong interest in technology and willingness to learn
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a globally distributed team
