* bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of proven experience working as a supervisor of account executive or in similar leadership roles within the logistics field, specifically in ground freight.
* proven experience in customer success, preferably within the ground freight or logistics industry.
* strong understanding of ground freight operations, market dynamics, and industry trends.
* excellent written and spoken english communication skills.
* strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* experience working with crm systems for data entry and management.
* demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics (processed leads, appointments, conversions).
* commitment to continuous professional development and product knowledge.
responsibilities
* lead, motivate, and mentor a team of account executives to achieve individual and team sales targets focused on ground freight services.
* conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.
* foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on achieving sales goals.
* collaborate with the sales manager or director to develop and implement effective sales strategies specifically for ground freight services.
* analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth in ground freight.
* develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals within the ground freight sector.
* act as a point of contact for escalated client issues related to ground freight and ensure timely resolution.
* work closely with the team to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing ground freight client accounts.
* ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline information related to ground freight.
* provide ongoing training to the sales team on product knowledge, industry trends, and effective sales techniques within ground freight.
working conditions:
* schedule: monday to friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
