about the role
we’re looking for a proactive and strategic business development manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving revenue by connecting business owners in the wedding industry with our marketing solutions. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and client success teams to develop and execute strategies that generate new business and foster long-term partnerships.

key responsibilities
* market research: analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and monitor competitors’ strategies to inform company growth efforts
* strategic planning: develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and growth targets. Identify potential markets and ideal client profiles, and create outreach plans accordingly
* client acquisition: source and engage potential clients, building strong relationships and negotiating contracts to secure business deals
* sales enablement: collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate our value
* networking & outreach: represent the company at industry events, conferences, and virtual meetups. Foster partnerships and maintain key stakeholder relationships
* performance tracking: monitor and report on key business development metrics, including revenue growth, lead conversion, and client acquisition rates
* team collaboration & leadership: work closely with cross-functional teams to align on business development goals and oversee the onboarding and support of business development representatives (bdrs) when needed
requirements
* 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
* strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies and achieve sales targets
* highly organized and self-motivated with a strategic mindset
* experience with crm systems (e.g., hubspot, salesforce, close, highlevel)
* familiarity with the wedding industry or digital marketing (a plus)
* bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
