Position summary:
ensures maximum efficient operations of facilities and equipment, as well as the care of all grounds and support equipment for a large (generally defined by a plant headcount of more than 250 employees and/or plant revenue greater than $70m). Defines strategic plans developing, implementing and maintaining process improvement and/or best practices. Oversees safety and environmental compliance. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Plans, prioritizes, schedules, and manages maintenance activities (e.g. shut-downs or emergency repairs) as well as liaisons with other functional areas in order to minimize business disruptions. Supports production through management of machine uptime. Develops and oversees tpm programs preventative maintenance programs. Sets priorities for projects and work orders. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Recommends equipment modification for upgrades. Estimates the cost, time, and resources required for repair projects; prepares work orders and monitors the progress of work against estimates.

- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- manage relationships with contractors and service providers.

requirements:
- excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- proven experience as a maintenance manager or in a similar managerial role.
- high knowledge on corrective and preventive maintenance cnc lathes, machines centers, hobbers, grinders.
- high knowledge of different controls systems such as fanuc, mazak, okuma, siemens.
- excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and other maintenance-related skills.
- strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ability to manage budgets and track expenses.
- high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, facility management, or a related field is preferred.
Required education / experience / skills:
- bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
- 7+ years in maintenance/facility management.
- green belt in lean six sigma preferred.
