Work Experience
- Software development experience.
- Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design of programming experience in a modern language such as Java, Python, C#.
- Experience with web technologies: Restful Services, Microservices, JavaScript.
- Experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Exposure to writing structured query language (SQL) and analyzing retrieved data.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and basic shell programming.
- Experience with Core Java and Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, JPA).
- Experience with data structures and software design patterns.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
- Financial services experience a plus.
Functional Skills
- Comfortable in more than one programming language, with a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies.
- Experience with server side programming, language agnostic.
- Experience working with open source frameworks.
- Experience with scripting and working in a *NIX environment.
- Ability to perform data‑related benchmarking, performance analysis, and tuning.
- Experience with Python, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or any cloud provider.
- Experience with distributed, multi‑tiered systems, algorithms, and databases.
- Familiar with Agile and CI/CD DevOps toolsets, i.e. Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus.

Responsibilities
- Gather, develop, analyze, and/or document client requirements; translate into technical specifications, such as product/sprint backlog, and facilitate and deliver the functionalities of applications aligning with requirements.
- Assist in writing, developing, and/or preparing technical and procedural documentation required in application system development.
- Assist in writing improvements to an organization's web security, standards and protocol.
- Participate in testing and validation procedures to ensure overall quality and smooth operation of all data service, web applications, and/or mobile applications; document the results of unit and systems testing.
- Design, modify, develop, write, and/or implement software applications, web‑based features, and infrastructure according to user needs and business requirements.
- Participate in developing, testing, and/or debugging new or enhanced software applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements; document the results of unit and systems testing.
- Integrate third‑party services, applications and functionalities to enhance web performance and e‑business success.
- Provide technical services on information delivery from the server to mobile clients, integrate specific mobile applications into different systems or platforms.
- Support the coding, testing, and/or implementation of client/server applications; fix any existing or new bugs.
- Utilize automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
- Work with users, visual designers and product managers to develop visually appealing user dashboard for on‑line data analytic products.
- Write source code for new applications, and/or generate and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Ensure optimum performance, high availability, and stability of solutions.
- Work with cross‑functional team; design, write, debug, deliver, maintain, and support code.
- Ensure on‑time delivery of owned features from design and implementation through production troubleshooting.
- Develop test script and automate testing process where possible.
