- manage product lifecycle, including phasing in and phasing out products. Ensure smooth transition between product phases, minimizing remaining stock of phased-out products and ensuring a steady supply of new products. - support the demand plan by thoroughly understanding forecasting methodologies and analyzing information. Evaluate the accuracy of forecasts in relation to actual sales, preventing over/under-forecasting. - create cost projections for products by analyzing current component valuations and estimating costs for upcoming purchase orders with customers. - maintain constant communication with demand planners to identify and implement new tools and solutions that streamline their work processes. - source new products based on product management drawings. - take ownership of assigned projects through planning and development - monitor and control safety stock levels. - costs re-negotiation with current and new suppliers. - participate in k2 systems’ events, trainings, trade shows, and partners’ events - review raw components to ensure an adequate supply aligning with the demand plan. Conduct analysis on existing supply and present findings to the supply chain manager.
Experiência y requisitos
- bachelors in business, economics or related fields. - 2-5 years of experience as supply chain analyst, (must) - 1-2 years of experience as buyer/planner experience. - motivated self-starter and strong organizational and analytical skills - high attention to detail - fluent in english, 90%-100% - high degree of intellectual curiosity and self-awareness with strong problem-solving skills
