about the role
we are looking for a junior business intelligence analyst to join our growing business analytics team.
in this role, you will support data-driven decision-making by analyzing financial, operational, and market data within the remittance and global payments industry. You’ll work with diverse datasets, apply analytical techniques (including emerging ai-driven approaches), and help deliver actionable insights that influence strategic and commercial decisions.

key responsibilities
* collect, clean, and analyze internal and external datasets (financial, operational, market data)
* identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis
* support reporting through dashboards and analyses (excel, power bi, ssms)
* contribute to forecasting, data modeling, and performance tracking
* apply basic analytics and ai-driven techniques (trend detection, anomaly identification)
* collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, revenue, product, operations)
* monitor industry trends in remittances and global payments
* support improvements in data quality, processes, and documentation
requirements
* 1–3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles
* bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business/data analytics, or related field (preferred)
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* advanced excel skills and good knowledge of microsoft office
* basic knowledge of sql / ssms or similar tools
* familiarity with power bi or other visualization tools
* understanding of data analysis concepts (data wrangling, visualization, basic statistics)
* interest in ai, automation, or advanced analytics
* strong communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences)
* advanced english proficiency

* experience with forecasting or data modeling
* exposure to ai-assisted analytics or machine learning concepts working conditions
